Motorola Mc3190 Driver
Posted By admin On 21.09.19I have 6 MC3190's that I have been using on my pc running Windows 7 without any issues. All six connect with WMDC 6.1 with no problem each time they are cradled. WMDC starts each time successfully when they are cradled. I moved to a different machine and when I was connecting one of the six units to the new PC running Windows 7, the driver failed to load correctly on the new machine the first time it was connected. The other 5 units successfully connect to the new machine without issue.

For some reason I cannot get the 6th unit to connect to the new machine. WMDC 6.1 does not open and I get a driver download failure each time. I have tried uninstalling WMDC 6.1 and reinstalling it but the one device is never recognized by WMDC. If I move the device back to my original PC is connects without issue. It seems to me that there is some type of registry entry logged to the device ID when it failed and the machine never accepts the device once it has failed.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I am trying to finish an install at a customer site. Hi Robert, Could you please let us know the exact error message?
Firstly please check if the MC 3190 date and time is match with your computer. After that, troubleshoot as below:. Keep your Mobile device connected to the computer. From the desktop, click Start, and then type devmgmt.msc in the Search programs and files box. In the Device Manager window, look under the Network adapters node for Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter. If this is not present, go to step 5. Otherwise, right-click Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter, and then select Uninstall.
Look under the Mobile Devices node for Microsoft USB Sync. If this is not present, go to step 6. Otherwise, right-click Microsoft USB Sync, and select Uninstall. Disconnect and then reconnect your device. Your device driver will be reinstalled, and Windows Mobile Device Center will be launched.
